- Midday Escape: The afternoon heat in Da Nang in May is intense. Spending the hot hours inside air-conditioned spots like the Da Nang Museum or local cafes is highly recommended.
- Hoi An Travel: Grabbing a private car or Grab for the 45-minute drive to Hoi An is very convenient. The town is incredibly atmospheric at night with all the glowing silk lanterns.

- Lady Buddha (Son Tra Peninsula): Morning visit for cool coastal air and panoramic sea views.
- Marble Mountains: Hiked up the paths and walked inside the limestone chambers, especially the Huyen Khong cave.
- Da Nang Museum: Explored local history and cultural exhibitions.
- Hoi An Ancient Town: Explored the historic lantern-lit streets and went on a lantern boat ride.
